Aloxe-Corton is the cradle of the Latour family, involved in the affairs of the town for more than three centuries. Domaine Louis Latour controls more than 90% of the total surface area of this Premier Cru, centered around the famous Château and the Corton-Grancey winery. These vines constitute an important part of Domaine Louis Latour. The name "Les Chaillots" refers to the stony soil of this vineyard. The wines of Aloxe-Corton are an alliance between the finesse of the wines of the Côte de Beaune and the powerful velvety of those of the Côte de Nuits.

Traditional in open vat, 100% malolactic
Aged for 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, 35% new barrels
Louis Latour Cooperage barrels, French oak, medium toast

Tasting note
With an intense ruby color, our Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru “Les Chaillots” develops aromas of blackberry, undergrowth and liquorice on the nose. Its mouth is round and reveals silky tannins.
